Campo del Bosco is our most prestigious wine. It is a red geographically-specified wine of an exceptionally high quality, produced with pure Sangiovese Grosso (Brunello). After long maceration on the grape-skin the wine is aged in new 5 hl tonneau for approximarely a year. It is then left to rest for a further six months. Campo del Bosco is produced only in exceptional years and in limited quantities.

Tasting notes: A deep ruby red color, a full-bodied wine, with a lingering berry-fruit perfume and a pleasant soft velvety finish. It improves with age to finally reach its maximum level.
Recommended food combination: It goes well with meat-dishes, game and pecorino cheese.
